What you DON'T need to bring....

We have three fishing rods and plenty of hooks and other tackle. I have two surf rod holders.

Live bait is sold right on the island either at Surfland when you first get on the island, and also right up the street from the house at the party boat dock. Both places also sell tackle.

There are two kayaks and paddles, you can kayak right off the back steps. We have one large and one medium Life Jacket (they fit Laura and I) so bring one if you're extra small or have large boobs (I checked, large boobs are NOT considered acceptable flotation devices by the Coast Guard.)

Under the deck you will find three or four beach chairs, the situp type that are low to the ground. We also have four regular lounge chairs on the deck which can brought down to the beach.

There are several coolers so just bring ice which you can buy at Dicks or the package store on the island. Ice is also sold at the party boat launch.

Floats ARE allowed in the basin so bring whatever you want! Check the tide chart on the home page. At high tide the water comes right up to the steps for easy kayaking and swimming. There almost always enough sand to put your chair on.

We have a grill with a direct propane hookup, a lobster/steamer pot, two big umbrellas, a firepit, an outdoor hot/cold shower, two picnic tables, a fridge for your food, a clean bathroom and plenty of plates, silverware, lobster tools, pans etc if you want to cook and plenty of utensils.

Now check out the What To Bring Page.....
